Detroit Housing Network

Collaborating with the Rocket Community Fund, I led the development of a brand identity for the Detroit Housing Network, an initiative aimed at fostering healthy neighborhoods and advancing racial equity in our communities. The network's core mission centers on bolstering housing stability and promoting affordable homeownership among Detroit residents.

Given the significance of the initiative to Detroit residents, our primary objective was to create a brand identity that seamlessly integrated with the City of Detroit's existing branding while also providing a flexible system for partner branding.

Through research and design considerations, we crafted a brand identity that not only aligned with the city's aesthetic but also captured the essence of the network's mission and values. The resulting identity symbolized the collaborative efforts aimed at building a brighter future for Detroit's neighborhoods and residents.

Brand Guidelines

I provided comprehensive brand guidelines serve as a roadmap for the Detroit Housing Network, ensuring consistent and cohesive brand representation across all touchpoints. Covering logo usage, color palettes, typography choices, and co-branding guidelines, these guidelines empower the network to effectively communicate its mission and values while consistent branding.

Brand Application

In addition to the brand guidelines, I provided the Detroit Housing Network with examples of the brand applied in various contexts.
